Hi my name is Jamison Wahl and I am a Sophomore in high school. In my class, Video Editing, I have created a video that has my dad racing my sister in a bike race. I chose to take this video in the direction I did actually because my dad came up with the idea. I was pondering what kind of video I could create and mentioned a baking contest between my dad and sister so my dad asked if we could do a bike race. I thought this idea had a lot of potential so we gave it a go. Throughout the video I am most proud of all the different filming techniques I actually used. In my previous video projects I chose one topic and made a video over it but in this video there’s a lot going on. I had multiple songs, I used multiple titles, I had a section that I made use of transitions, I had a race happening, I had a time lapse and I was able to interview the contestants as well. I think one of the most challenging parts of this video was cutting my songs together. I chose two different song choices and I think I could have done a better job mixing the two songs together. If I could redo this project I would have been more conscious of the wind while filming outside and I would spend more time cutting the songs together.
